Sweet Potato Soup with Pumpkin Seeds and Cheesy Breadsticks
Nothing beats a bowl of hot, comforting soup on a rainy day!
This thick sweet potato soup has plenty of hidden vegetables in it for those who are still learning to love vegetables, plus it’s a great way to use up any left-overs lurking in the salad drawer.
I often accompany soup with my homemade bread sticks which are fun to make, particularly with children who really can’t go wrong twisting the dough into long ‘twigs’.
These ones were seasoned with smoked paprika and parmesan cheese to accompany the sweet potato notes, but almost anything can be used in their place…olives, rosemary, chilli flakes, gorgonzola…
